False positive?

We've been trying for four months and being the instant gratification person I am started to convince myself it wasn't gonna happen.Today I was supposed to start my period but haven't had any symptoms so to ease my mind I took a pregnancy test because that usually always starts AF But it said pregnant.My period is technically not even 1 day missed.Is this right? My CM is also like lotion if that helps never noticed what it was pre period before

Hello. Yes, a ‘the first day of a missed period’ is the date it’s due so you took it on time. False positives are very rare (as opposed to indents) so I would say you are pregnant! x

False positives are extremely rare. There can be faulty tests that have evap lines etc but there’s almost no circumstances where you’d get a positive without the presence of HCG.

If it said pregnant, it’s safe to assume you’re pregnant. If you’re unsure, take another test.
