I’ve read some women don’t get high hcg levels until weeks along others very early. It can vary in one week from 15 to 52,000. So is she right or wrong?

All depends on when you ovulate. If you ovulate on time, it would show positive the first day of your missed period. If you ovulate late, or would show a few days later.

Depends when you implant. You can implant as late at 12 dpo. Let’s say you had a level of HCG of 1 before getting pregnant. Then it would double every few days so by day 14 could only be at a 2 or 4, which isn’t even considered pregnant and won’t pick up on an HPT. so no, that is not always true.

I got a super faint line a week after my missed period. I'm pretty sure i would've gotten a Negative if i had tested the day before or the day after missed period.
