Y’all ever wonder how women did it back in the day?

When there was no medicine to help induce or c-sections? Like we are so comforted by the new medicine that we today that I forget that women went through this all on their own..(In some instances this still maybe the case) 
Just a thought I had while in the comfort of L&D.

I wonder moreso how women did parenting without having access to Google and online communities and texting!!!! I am constantly searching random stuff and reaching out to my mama friends with questions/complaints. And when baby is sick in the night ... how did they know what to do?!

I'm planning all natural in a birthing center as well. the midwives dont induce or provide pain relief or c sections haha
