Not sure where to post this-foster care and hair?

So I dont think this is controversial, but when I looked up WOC this is one of the only groups that popped up.

I'm looking into doing foster care/adoption (although I also hope to have biological kiddos too if I'm so blessed) I am white and have wavy, plain, white person hair and was hoping for tips, YouTube channels, etc for doing toddler hair in case I get a lovely toddler of another ethnicity in my home. I know sometimes it can vary from extremely curly to extremely slick and straight... or may end up just like mine, theres a lot of variety out there.

I know I can Google this too, and I am doing that too. But I was hoping for tried and true channels and advice that have been useful to y'all instead of coming across random channels that really may not have the best advice. I can always branch out once I have the basics.

I have extremely thick hair that my mom kinda shamed me for, and if I end up being able to adopt one of these beautiful children I hope to be able to learn enough about hair to help them and be able to let them know that natural is beautiful. I hope to be able to show that even though mommy may not have the same hair as them if they end up being another ethnicity.

Also maybe I'll end up with a baby of my same ethnicity and may not need this but I'd rather be more prepared than less prepared, you know? Plus if my kid has friends with these different possible hair textures, I don't want them to be left out if I dont know how to handle their hair either.

Sorry this kinda went on a tangent, and if this is the totally wrong place for this I'll delete.
