Upset with my barista

I just need to vent a bit...

I’m a college student. I’ve been on a first name basis with all the lunch/barista people for years. They all know me and they’ve all seen me on my bad nausea days. (They know I’m preggers, how far along, all about my son, etc)

I’ve limited my caffeine intake since the beginning. When I can stomach it; I drink one cup (usually half) of coffee (at home) a day.

Today, I got to school early after a long night and early morning. I go to the coffee stand and order a 16 oz iced coffee. The barista tells me that she won’t serve me coffee, I’ll have to go with decaf.

I’m upset. I needed a little caffeine today. She knows I am careful about what I eat and drink. I know she cares. I just want what I want.🤷🏻‍♀️ I feel ridiculous though.

Hormones. Ugh.
