2nd babies always bigger?

I swear almost everyone I know says their first baby was smaller than the second. I have for sure gained more weight this time maybe due to having a baby in winter versus summer! I had a hard recovery due to tearing with my first and she was 7lbs 2oz. I am so nervous this one will be bigger! Also girl. What was everyone’s second baby bigger or smaller?

My first came on due date, second was 11 days early. Second was half pound less than first, so that was not the case for me

So they got bigger the more I had except the fourth which was smaller so it’s not always a definite

My first was 7 10.5 and my second was 8 exactly.

I’m told this too and scared! #1 was 10.2 pounds and I had a 2nd degree tear. They’re going to be doing lots of detailed measurements this time and encourage a c section if baby measures over 10 pounds before due date. I don’t trust their measurements though! Pushing out a 10 pounder was excruciating. I know it’s not guaranteed that 2nd is bigger but the stats show it’s more likely.
