Heyo friends! Okay so, I have kinda been confused lately. My mom has been bugging me since I turned 14 (I’m almost 15 now) to get a job, she told me I need to start saving and stuff and that makes sense to me, (she also wants to have a reason not to pay for stuff like clothes anymore, that, doesn’t make sense to me) but... idk. My dad (my parents are divorced) wants me to wait until after grade nine and after my grades are like.. straight A’s and stuff. I want to start working but I think my dads right, I’m not ready and I have struggled with school in the past, so I want to make sure I’m doing good before I make that commitment. BUT. I feel like a cost a lot of money? At least that’s how they make it seem sometimes (unintentionally) so maybe if I got a job I could start paying for more of my things and I won’t cost so much to them, plus I would like to have a little spending money, i would save most of it though. I’m just stuck in a weird place rn and I’m not sure what to do, so I’m just wondering what you guys think and when you got your first job. Thanks for your help! ❤️
