Celiac disease?!

Just curious if any of you ladies have celiac disease and if so, how do you feel when you eat gluten?
I just recently found out I have an autoimmune disease but the doctors are having trouble figuring out which one specifically. I’m thinking it might be celiac disease.

My aunt is celiac and for the longest time doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her - during those years that she was diagnosed and therefore kept eating gluten, she had a LOT of stomach issues - vomiting, the runs, nausea, and she lots a ton of weight during that time. She literally couldn’t eat anything without having to go to the bathroom within min (cause of cross contamination)

Its more severe in some people than others. For me it causes stomach issues, breakouts and migraines but only if i eat it. For a family friend, if they even use the same toaster she will end up in the hospital.

If you have celiac typically you end up in the hospital when you have gluten. Most people just have a gluten intolerance which can cause bloating, nausea, upset stomach

My sister in law has celiacs. She can eat gluten at all or she gets super sick.

My sister has it. If she eats something that’s cross contaminated with gluten she gets really nauseous and then gets the shits. She hasn’t purposely eaten gluten in a couple years though because it was causing seizures. Ask them to test you for it
