Awkward situation.

So around when I was 20 weeks pregnant my friends (friends with both of them, they are engaged) asked want I wanted for my baby that they could buy. They wanted it to be something that's a little more pricey that would be a relief of my husband and my shoulder.

I thought about it and I told them a baby monitor would be good and it doesn't have to be expensive. Well they went on explaining how they want to get us a really nice baby monitor.

Anyways I am 38w pregnant and I haven't heard anything on it, and I don't want to bring it up and come off like I expect the baby monitors.

They both came to my shower and got us a pack of diapers. (I am assuming maybe they didn't have much money which is fine)

I just don't know what to do. I don't want to go and buy a baby monitor and turns out they still planned on getting me a monitor.. but I don't want to come straight out and ask if they are still getting us baby monitors because I feel like it's a rude question and comes off like I just expect it.

What should I do...
