Quitting Smoking - Pregnancy
Where are all the ex smokers who are now pregnant or have had their babies?
I used to be a horrible chain smoker, easily 20+ cigarettes a day.
I found out I’m expecting and have cut down tremendously (because I’m obviously aware of the health risks) and I’m only smoking one after breakfast and maybe one or two at night when I finish work. It’s really hard though because all I want to do is smoke. All the time. The withdrawals are awful.
I don’t need hate on the fact I’m still smoking, for me to even cut down this much is such an outstanding effort considering how I used to be a few weeks ago. My partner is fully supportive and pushes and encourages me with quitting.
I’m just here for advice and tips on how you quit for good. The guilt is getting to me so I try really hard not to smoke but the habit and the routine is what gets me every time.
It’s to the point where I cry because I can’t have a cigarette when I really want one. My job is quite stressful as well.
Please just be friendly and help me with some tips and tricks!!!! :(
