Special finance? Have you ever done it?

I’m trying to get me a car and the dealership is trying to do a special finance with me considering I haven’t bought a car and this will be my first time. Does anyone know if there is a downpayment? I’ll only have about 200 for a down payment. (Sorry I didn’t know where to post and never had a car from a car lot)

First and foremost I would go talk to your hometown credit union to see what you can get approved for and see what they will give you for that specific car.

I dont think $200 is enough for a downpayment. Depends on your credit though— ask the sales rep to run the #s for you

You might as well go for a $0 down payment and keep that $200 for your first payment because that’s nowhere near enough for the bank to give you a good deal.
