Did my doctor lie to me??

My doctor doctor did an internal ultrasound. He said that I have endometriosis. Reading some of your comments on other posts you guys have said that endometriosis can only be diagnosed with a laparoscopicly. Did he lie to me then??? I don’t have the same side affects that other women seem to be having. I sometimes feel bloated and nauseous but I never get the horrible doubled over stay in bed all day pain. I have pcos so I don’t get periods. But I’m starting to think that I don’t have endometriosis. My ovaries will cause me problems sometimes. But I dont experience the pain. Is anyone else like this?

Correct the only true way to diagnose is with laparoscopy. Endo fighter for 10 years here! Maybe he came to the conclusion after the ultrasound because he may have been looking for something else and it might have been a situation where if what he was looking for was not there then his conclusion was endo.🤷🏻‍♀️. But if his only reason was the ultra sound then I say find another doc to get a second opinion because you can not diagnose by ultra sound.

I read some posts too and ive done multiple ultrasounds internal and external and my doctor also diagnosed me with endometriosis without doing any surgery, i was pretty confused but im going to bring it up the next time i go because they gave me pills to be on for endo but what are they doing if i dont actually have endo?

He might have found a cyst. Endometriomas can be found or at least strongly suggested on ultrasounds. I would ask him what about the ultrasound indicates endo. I had my endo initially diagnosed this way before my surgery that confirmed it.
