1,7 yrs apart!

Hey, second (and more) time mommies!

I have had some thoughts in my mind lately and they get me more stressful and worried as time goes.

I have a son (1y 2m now) and I am pregnant with my second. When the baby arrives, my son will be 1,7y old.

At first I was really happy for the little age gap, but now I’m getting worried. My son is very emotional, needs comfort and attention. He is not a cry-baby, but we do have a strong bond. And now I can’t imagine having another baby.

I can’t deal with feeling that I will not have enough time for my son and I am starting to regret being pregnant, as I think I will not be able to love my second child as much. I am not enjoying this pregnancy like my first one (because I just don’t have time for that), and that makes me feel like I will not have a good bond with my second as I have with my first one.

It may sound funny.. I just need to know has anyone got a little age gap between kids and how you dealt with emotional side of raising them.
