Why does the love change?

So I have been noticing this quite frequent and my question is why when you fall in love with your significant other you tend to love everything about that person even their flaws n then months or years into the relationship everything that your significant other does bugs you and you dont want to be with them anymore but you fall in love because of those flaws?

Doesn't sound like love in the first place if you eventually start resenting them. Lust? Or maybe just the idea of love? People get comfortable and then they realize they don't like them or the relationship after all. That is how i know I am very in love with my husband. 8 and a half years and I never did not want to be with him.

I love my husband we been married 4 yrs we've known each other for more than 8 and I must say I love him dearly, but their is things that get on my nerves. I know I love him and I'm in love with him it's not lust took me 30 yrs to finally get married etc cuz I take marriage seriously so I know that I married for the right reasons, bit sometimes something the other person does can get a little annoying doesn't mean you don't  love them. Idk that's just my opinion

I agree with the other poster. Sounds more like lust. Could also be your age. I feel like when I was young I would fall hard and fast and be totally blind to faults. My husband and I were in our 30’s when we met. We were brutally honest about everything and laid it all on the table. We weren’t lusting after each other. Really just falling in love.
