I have a guy friend I’ve known forever. He’s always had a crush on me. He treats me VERY well. It’s always what I want to do and where I want to go. If my feet hurt he offers to rub them. Even if I asked him to go get his toes painted pink with me I’m 100% he’d do it. I KNOW he’s never cheat on me. Hurt me. Or do me wrong. BUTTTTTTT I’m not attracted to him. I see him only as a funny loving guy friend. I’ve dated the hot sexy guys before and they would just cheat on me or ignore me all the time or hit me. Should I give this poor guy a chance and date him?????? I’ve known him since middle school we’re now 20

Sometimes the best ones be right in front of you, but if you're not attracted to him then I recommend not giving him a chance.

Honestly, no. If you’re not attracted to him, that’s not going to change by going on a date. You’ve had plenty of years to build up your friendship. If you were going to find him attractive, you would have by now. 
Don’t get his hopes up only to end up hurting him later down the line when you’re still not attracted to him and know for sure that this will never go beyond friendship for you.
Life isn’t a romantic comedy, and by “giving him a chance,” you could end up just ruining a good friendship and breaking his heart.

I say go for it! It’s better to know you are never going to be cheated on or be hurt! It sounds like he really cares about you and i think that maybe ur not attracted to him but that doesn’t mean you won’t be in the future. Plus, your type can change over time! Just give it a shot and if he really cares about you and you break up... you will still be friends! so just keep that in mind and just give him a shot!!!!

I'd say yeah... I mean sometimes you look past peoples appearance and actually see them...if you know what I mean.. better then stringing him along lol ..it could turn into something great..
