When is soon too soon?

I picked up some Clear Blue early detection test today.My husband and I tried harder than ever in February to conceive. AF isn’t scheduled to be here until March 11th. I’m terrified of getting a negative result, but I just want to know if I am ...even if it’s just a faint line. When is soon too soon to test?
