I’m currently 16 weeks with my FIRST little rainbow baby boy and need advice. I’ve told my husband’s and my family that I am HIGHLY against everyone kissing our baby once he’s born. Ever since my husband’s side especially my MIL has kinda giving me shit about it. She gets all sad and “You’re really not gonna let me kiss on your baby?” “I just want to show my love!” My BIL says “You’ll weaken the baby’s immune system” I’m having a hard time even thinking about people being at the hospital let alone everyone kissing my baby as soon as he’s born! Plus I’m personally nervous about kissing him MYSELF since last year I would get cold sores constantly. I know most people will say “Well he’s your baby so your rules” but I also know my MIL likes to do things her way and if it’s not done her way everyone suffers. I’m set on my opinion but help?
