How to tell people...

So I'm not pregnant yet. I'm not in a relationship anymore. My partner of 3 years broke up with me in August.

Anyways one of my friends has said that he will help me get pregnant of that's what I want (not sex, doing AI at home) since I had a stillborn at 23 weeks a few weeks after my ex left me.

Anyways his partner is fine with it (she suggested it) so I am thinking about doing it. HOWEVER I am currently in work accomodation so I'd have to get a flat when I went on maternity (I can definitely afford it) and I'm also scared on how people would react to me being pregnant when single as I don't really want to tell people that it is his.

And my mum (I'm 23) would go ballistic if she knew j was doing AI as for her a baby should only be created between two people who love each other ect. She wasn't too happy with my last (planned) pregnancy either.

What could I tell people if I did get pregnant? Just that j had a one night stand? Or do you think people wouldn't ask??
