Cholestasis
I’m 33 weeks and have recently been having symptoms of gallbladder issues. That’s not odd for me because I have a history of gallbladder issues. I mentioned it to my midwife at my last appointment and she wanted to run some tests.. I got the results this morning (sent to my labcorp account) and I have elevated alkaline phosphatase in my blood. I did a quick google search in what that meant and the most common in pregnancy is Cholestasis. I haven’t had intense itching, only mild but I assumed it was from the cold weather. I haven’t talked to my midwife yet but she should be calling once she’s open.. but was anyone diagnosed with this? What did your doctor/midwife do? What was the outcome? I see that stillbirth is a risk if left untreated and I’m trying not to freak out. Just wondering what the outcome was.

I have all of the above symptoms (minus yellowing skin and eyes and dark urine)
I’ll update once I talk to my midwife.
