Menstrual-like cramping

FTM and currently 36 weeks experiencing menstrual like cramping for a couple days now. Is this normal? It doesn’t feel like the Braxton Hicks I’ve been having for weeks and baby boy is just as active as ever. I have an ultrasound today and an appointment with my OB tomorrow so i plan on asking her about it but just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing the same thing or knows if it’s normal.

Having the same pains along with pelvic pressure. A couple of weeks ago I had a cold and went to hospital to make sure baby was okay and turns out I was having small contractions I didn’t even feel. So I’m labeled as preterm labor. Have an appointment with my Obgyn today

I’m also 36 weeks and I’ve been having period like cramps that are definitely not Braxton Hicks contractions. I asked my Dr and he said as long as they don’t come on stronger and aren’t coming at regular intervals, there isn’t anything to worry about. It’s just my bodies way of slowly getting ready while baby moves lower into my pelvis.

I’ve been experiencing the same. My doc said the same a last poster. And it’s normal after 35-36 weeks to be feeling this

We have the same due date and having boys! Lol. But the past few days I've been having more Braxton hicks but not real contractions though.

My wife has been experiencing this for weeks. Her doctor said it's just Braxton Hicks and everything stretching out and making room. She said it's completely normal and many women get it. 🤷
