Visiting dilemma

anna

Ive just had a huge guilt trip because my sister can't get up my stairs to visit ever, so cant once baby is here, and her partner smokes in their home which is a SIDS risk so i asked if he still smokes and she replied asking if she should just accept she will never see baby then.

This is after her making my first trimester absolute hell of stress because she cant have children and that was somehow my fault too (its not)

I dont want to seem like an asshole cos of her disability but my baby is priority so i don't know how to solve this.

Also didnt plan on doing visits out until i am healed anyway, was going to do the 40 days of bonding/fourth trimester, and all the stress my family has put me in i didnt plan on telling them about labour until after baby is here.

I dont think its unreasonable that i make decisions based on the safety of my baby so why does anyone think it is ok for them to challenge our choices?

She bought a ton of stuff for baby apparently but didn't bring any to the baby shower and said we have to visit to get it.

Its all just melting my tired hormonal head 😂
