My fiancé is off at basic training and by the time he gets home it’ll be six months since we’ve been able to be intimate. Any tips on getting back into the swing of things?

Mine and I honestly picked up like he hadn’t left. Nothing really changed besides loving one another more. Mine is deployed right now, but we talk as much as we can. Honestly just communicate and be real. Don’t let it get awkward. Nothing really changed 🤷🏼‍♀️💙

My ex was in the army. We had to go a similar time too and I was also worried about what it’d be like when we first had sex. I had all of these things planned out in my head about what I could say, things to do etc. None of it helped. The second we were alone we were all over each other like we’d never been apart.

Just get back into it 🤣 just communicate with him. Pick up where you left off. Him being away shouldn’t change anything. Just do exactly what you would do as if he was always there. The longest my husband and I were ever away was a year and the moment I saw him I just pounced on him like a hungry lion. 🤣 maybe I wasn’t too helpful I’m sorry m

When my husband came back from deployment the first thing that happened was sex 😂 so if you want to get back into it just go for it.

Just because he is away doesn’t mean anything. He gets back and you continue like nothing ever happened. Mine went to basic, AIT came back home for a week and left for Korea for a year. We talked every single day and when he came home we continued with our lives.

My spouse and i started to go out much more than before we started dating, we talk about ourself a lot and being so childish playing around, well thats how we started to be more closer and closer. You could take this tip or start talking more with your fiance.
