How to produce more breast milk?

Advice on how to produce more breast milk? Pump more, pump longer? Eat certain things? Thanks!

I have tried absolutely everything "they" say to increase supply (fenugreek, lactation cookies, Gatorade and more!) and the #1 thing that worked for me was to do a power pump session each day with my pump. I pump for 10 minutes, rest for 10, pump for 10 and so on for 1 hour. It simulates a baby's cluster feeding during growth spurts and you'll usually see an increase in 1-2 days. The supplements everyone else recommends sure can't hurt but this helped me the most! I've made it part of my daily routine.

I have a love/hate relationship with that pump 😉

You milk production is basically supply and demand. The more milk you demand from it the more it will produce. It will take some time so don't loose hope. Something else I have found absolutely fabulous for increasing supply is Healthy nursing tea.

Some people swear by hard root beer such as not your father's root beer. I have been trying to find it lol. Also alfalfa sprouts! And magnesium. And fennel oil (topical). Brewers yeast tablets. Beer. Power pump. Oatmeal. Ovaltine. More milk plus from motherlove. Lol I do a lot and still underproduce for my twins!

Gatorade has helped me.  I also just started eating steel cut oats, which should also help. Fenugreek, mothers milk tea, lactation cookies, and tons of water as well. There are also certain medications that can help, but you would need to talk to your doctor about those.
