Why is it saying there’s a free trial, but when I click it, it just gives me options to buy???

It’s like most free trials I believe. To get it you have to sing up with a credit card bc most people forget to cancel after the trial and if you don’t you get charged

Are you seeing that in the me page? There is sometimes free trials, but not for the discounts. We're working on updating the text.

The “free trial” is really just a discounted price. Nothing free about it I think.
