So my mother suggested catering for my baby shower on the 16th of this month. Now I denied it at first, but then my husband said it would be best, instead of me cooking. She also said she would pay for said catering, and so I agreed because I’ve already paid for everything else for my baby shower... I tell her Applebee’s does catering at a reasonable price, and it’s pretty good food... she denies it, and says look for something cheaper. She then says that there are plenty of places... now y’all, I’ve lived in this town for 3 years, my mother lives 5 hours away. My husband is in the military, and I was also in, and just got out... so I KNOW what’s good around here, and also it’s a small town. she keeps saying no, and to find something better and cheaper... I’m at a point where I just don’t want her to pay for it, and we’ll pay it ourselves... am I wrong for feeling like this?... im 34 weeks and I’m trying to avoid all stress+ drama
