Ultrasounds

How often are you ladies getting ultrasounds done? Imagine my surprise when I go to my first appointment (I was 8 weeks) and they tell me I’ll only have one more at 20 weeks!

I asked and she said that’s just what the doctors office does. That is NOT enough for me! Lol. I wanna see my baby!! Just curious if anyone else is in the same boat?

3; Dating Scan at 8 weeks NT Scan (elective) at 12 weeks Anatomy scan at 20 weeks MOST doctors won’t do anymore unless there’s a cause for concern.

My doctor does one at every appointment for every patient. If she didn’t I would find a new OB that aligned more with my desires

I had one at 10 weeks and 20 weeks.Then 36 weeks to see if baby was head down and 41 weeks during a non stress test to check fluid, but that last two were real short and I didn't see much of the baby.

We’d usually have a dating scan at 9-12 weeks and an anatomy scan 18-22 weeks. Other than that none unless needed. But with both mine I ended up win regular ultrasounds due to slow growth with first and a heart condition with second.

My 1st 3 pregnancies I got one in the beginning to date me then around 20 weeks for my anatomy scan then one towards the end with this pregnancy since I'm high risk I get one every 4 weeks I would maybe think about getting a different dr

Ive had 4 but they have been monitoring her size cuz she's not growing at a normal rate. But even at those visits u dont get to see hardly anything. Its a very quick appointment.

Here it’s usually 3 ultrasounds, the one to confirm the pregnancy doesn’t count. So between 9-12, 19-22, and 29-32 weeks. I have private insurance though and my ob is also monitoring me a little closer due to my age so I get one every 3 weeks, 2 weeks now that I’m just days away from my due date.
