Squirmy baby

Keysha • Stay at home mom to a 2 year old boy Animal mom

Anyone know how to keep a baby from breaking out of a swaddle our son is so squirmy and tries to get to his hands which leads him to break his arms out but he needs to use it cause he squirms and will wake himself up

These are the ones we are using

Second this! My son DEMANDS his hands out and the halo swaddles have special sleeves that separate the swaddle portion. He has two and loves them!

We use the love to dream swaddle. My LO likes to have her hands up by her face

We double swaddle at night but we just use receiving blankets. Our guy doesn’t like the Halo ones

Our baby was born premature so getting too warm isn’t much of a concern to us since he lacks fat that other babies gain in those last few weeks in the womb. He is generally in a onesie with a light sleeper over it. We use cotton receiving blankets to swaddle. Our house is 66 at night. We don’t keep the house very warm at all because I can’t sleep when it’s hot

What do you have your baby wearing under the double swaddle so they don't get too warm? What temperature is the room?

Double swaddle works so well!

A zip up swaddle like wombie or love to dream is the only thing my kids couldn't wiggle out of.

I use Woombie which has a zipper down the front instead of Velcro and it’s perfect! You never have to worry about it being tight or loose and they literally can’t break out.

My son breaks out of Velcro swaddles, too. We use the Miracle Blanket (no Velcro,) and I’m pretty sure it’s why he sleeps as well as he does.
