I'm 17 I'm 9 weeks pregnant and I'm not excited at all I know I'm young so its normal to be scared but shouldn't I feel some form of excitement ? I keep thinking of having a miscarriage or something to make it all go away 🤦🏼 I know this sounds crazy I just don't know what to do or think

I was pregnant at 17 with my son. The first trimester was literally me crying every night scared and nervous. I didn't even begin to get excited until I was almost in my third trimester. He is 10 now and is every bit the blessing he was ment to be. You got this momma ❤

It is pretty normal to feel that way, I was 17 when I got pregnant with my first and he was born a month after I turned 18. However, I was pretty excited after a few weeks of getting used to the idea. Everything will be ok but also remember that if your just completely not ready adoption is always an option.

Totally normal for anyone at any age to feel this way. A lot of women don’t even fully connect with their baby until after birth or a few months after birth. I’m 18 and 35 weeks and while I’ve loved my baby from the beginning, I definitely cried myself to sleep many nights because I was scared and nervous. Now I want him here so dang bad it’s killing me😂. Just try to relax, it will get better💖

In the beginning it was very hard for me to be excited. I found out when I was like 4 or 5 weeks and by week 6 I genuinely thought I was going to die from hyperemesis and metabolic acidosis. I lost 20 pounds and was constantly scared of losing my baby because of all the stress that was put on my body. Now that I’m 14 weeks and feeling pretty good I’m pretty excited. I’m only 18 so I know it’s scary to be a young mom and have the fear of miscarriage but just don’t stress and think to yourself everything will be okay. 💗

Totally normal. I didn't get excited until I was like 27 weeks. It's definitely scary! You got this momma.
