Weight Debate

Hey everyone :) so imma say straight forward that i am in no way “skinny” or “fit”. My whole life i have been on the complete opposite side of the scale. I’ve always been depressed about my weight, and couldn’t do anything about it because healthy food wasn’t an option in my house. As in we couldn’t “afford” it.

Anyway, I’m still overweight. I’m not skinny by any means and IVE FINALLY learned to love my body.

So many people feel uncomfortable in their skin because of this reason, and it’s not right.

And yes. If you can’t walk, and if your blood pressure and blood sugar levels are through the roof that’s one thing. But if you are MEDICALLY HEALTHY- as in- no high blood pressure, no high blood sugar, no issues running or walking, you can breathe fine, i don’t see why being overweight is even an issue.

Like i get my levels checked every time i go to my OBGYN (every 4 weeks cause im pregnant) and they say I’m perfect. Blood pressure is Usually about 115-120/75.

If I’m not medically unhealthy and feel good about myself why would i need to lose weight to be “pretty” or “skinny”?

Big is beautiful to me🤷🏼‍♀️ i just dont see why it’s okay for me or other people like me to get called “disgusting and obese”.
