Gardening when pregnant?

What's everyone's thoughts on gardening when you're pregnant? I've read mixed reviews in dealing with soil.

Just like any potentially strenuous activity - only do what your body allows you to do

Stay away from fertilizer containing feces of any kind and you’ll be fine. It’s the toxoplasmosis that you have to worry about. You can also wear gloves and a mask for added safety.

I tended our entire garden while pregnant. I just wore gloves where I normally wouldn’t have and washed thoroughly more often. And also took more breaks 😂.

It’s safe to touch soil but just like food with soil on it, just make sure you wash your hands thoroughly afterwards so you don’t pass any bacteria into your mouth :) x

I gardened while pregnant with my first!! I needed help with the more physical things like digging holes or pounding stakes in... But I just listened to my body. This pregnancy is a winter one so there isn't much gardening to be done!! Haha
