A little irritated

Yall, I'm just a little frustrated. My mil never let's me dress my son. Every time I put him in a onsie its "it's too cold" and she changes him. Any time I put him in a sleeper, its "that ones not thick enough" or "that one is too short" even when he is visibly sweating. I tried to talk to her put she never listens, and continues to do it. Then she fusses me when the sleepers are dirty, and I tell her they wouldnt all be dirty if she let me put him in other things. Am I being petty?
