My “Best Friend” of 20+ years...

Ended our friendship over a dumb Christmas song.

I never thought this would happen but I guess time changes people. I noticed we didn’t really have much in common anymore after she moved in with her girlfriend 600 miles away, she started distancing herself. Id message her on Facebook and sometimes she responded and sometimes didn’t to eventually not even reading my messages I sent her.

The last message I ever sent to her I was asking if I could ask her something. I wanted to know when she found out that she was gay, because she could tell me anything. I was hurt by this that she didn’t feel she could tell me, I had to find out on Facebook.

When the holidays came around this past season, everyone was torn against the song Baby It’s Cold Outside. Which is a Christmas classic, can’t and won’t change my mind. I will listen to it. So I shared a post and said that I will always listen and she deleted me and won’t respond to me. 😐
