Need some help about a fever...

So my son got his first dose of mmr vaccine last week on Monday didn’t have a fever really the first day but because he had a fibrile seizure with another vaccine we were told to give him Tylenol about 30 mins after the shot which I caught heat from other ppl about since he didn’t have a true fever but the doc wanted us taking precautions. Well since then my sons fevers have gradually went from a low grade fever of 99.8 to now today a fever of 103. I called his doctor about it but the nurse said just keep pushing Tylenol or Mortin I have also given him warm baths and compresses trying to get it to come down but nothing seems to be really working. I’m a new mom so I’m kind of at a loss on what to do. I got it down and fluctuating between 100 to 101 and I have an appointment for him tomorrow but they said they don’t think there is much else I can do for him besides just prescribing the Tylenol or Motrin. They also said his teething could be contributing as well but idk what to do and I was hoping another mom might have some ideas of how to make him more comfortable.
