My fiancé and I have been engaged for a little while however we told his family a couple weeks ago. The same week his sister said she had something awesome to tell the family. She sounded disappointed when my fiancé announced our engagement. Pretty sure it’s because we stole her thunder..... I mean she lives far away so I haven’t even met her yet... but I’m like 😳😳😳😳 I hope we don’t pick the same date. We’re looking at July dates. Wanted it to be April but we’re buying a house right now (trying to find one). And some other shit is happening preventing our marriage. Anyway I know I’m worrying before but something in my gut is making me feel like this is all going to be weird. We’re planning to elope, but nobody has even asked us about our plans except my family......? I’m kind of sad too (only admitting this to you guys) that our engagement will be overshadowed by theirs I guess maybe she might feel like that too. Idk. I don’t even want a real wedding but I feel like his mom and his family doesn’t even care to be involved?! Being sensitive? Period is due soon lol
