The poncho, sombrero, and maracas are more of a Mexican culture. Not all Hispanics are Mexicans so it’s just annoying to me how that’s always portrayed in everything.

Try being Brazilian and EVERY SINGLE PERSON that looks at you automatically starts speaking Spanish to you... which I don’t speak. Then I answer in English and people get offended, and I have to explain that I don’t speak Spanish, I speak Portuguese, and then they’re like “isn’t it all the same?” And I’m like NOPE, two completely different languages ALTHOUGH they sound similar.
