Ok can someone please give me some hope. I stared having brown spotting(like 3-4 drops; no cramping) I freaked out and went to the ER for some peace of mind. The doc said my HCG was 9,049!!! He then sent me for a transvaginal ultrasound. He said he was worried because he did not see a fetal pole. I did some research and found it was normal not to see the fetal pole at 5w2d. He did however see the yolk sac and gestational sac. He was worried because he said with an HCG that high he should see a fetal pole and thought I was further along.The spotting has stopped BTW. I guess my question is...is it normal to have that high of HCG right now??? has anyone had any similar experiences?
