Tips for weak nails.

Im trying to grow my nails out. However there’s always that one nail that end up peeling sideways near the tip. What do you guys do when your nails peel? 😂

Depends how bad. Usually I'll glue it then cover with strengthening polish

my nails have always been brittle and break very easily but once I started using vitamin c face serum i noticed when rubbing it in my nails were also getting some and they became so much stronger! also gel polish is amazing for making them stronger and letting them get longer with no breakage or peeling.

My nails have always been brittle... but they’ve been stronger than ever since I’ve started taking prenatal vitamins! My hair has also become stronger.

I always have nail polish on and that helps give them some strength. Base coat, 2 color coats, and a top coat can help strengthen/protect your nails. Never pick at the polish though as that can pull up parts of your nails. When I repaint my nails I will use cuticle oil and let them soak then remove the polish with remover. After that I use cuticle oil again before I paint them, making sure to wipe them down before painting though. Also, nail clippers are actually not very good for your nails, a glass file is much better for them. You can also use a peel off base coat. I've found that when they peel off my nails seem to be very smooth and I don't need acetone to remove the polish so I don't need ad much cuticle oil

Trim it and file it.

This is what my nails look like now. They start out strong as ever and then over time they just get ugly and you can tell they’re weak. I use coconut oil to moisturize my cuticles but I also have a low thyroid. ☹️
