Timeline after PGS for transfer?

Hello all! This is our first IVF cycle after having done six failed IUI’s. We opted for PGS testing and ICSI since we are hoping to get it right the first time! We started stims last night with gonal-f and menopur. My question is, we were given a timeline from now to retrieval (March 17-23). But does anyone have a timeline from retrieval to PGS and transfer back? I’m super excited and just want to know when to look forward to having a little bean in my uterus. I’ve been reading that they put you on BC for two weeks and then transfer but I’ve also read that it was over a month for others! Any insight is appreciated!

I am reading here mostly the results comes back in 2-3 weeks. I dont know wich one its weird but we are doing PGS also. My retrieval should be also around March 20th. But my embryologyst told us that for the PGS testing they take the cells on day 3 of the embryo. And the results comes back only 2 days later. So  we are doing a fresh transfer with a 5 day blast (if they make it to day 5),but we know that the results comes back in only 2 days so my transfer will be around the 25March.

We had our retrieval in 2/5.  They said 10 days to 2 weeks for results on PGS and it took 3 weeks.🤦🏼‍♀️ torture!  Anywho we got results this week and our transfer is scheduled for 3/29.  Best of luck!!!  Try not to stress...it’s so hard!

We had about two months between our retrieval and transfer. I had to wait to get my period, then a full cycle. 
I did my retrieval in September and had my transfer in November.... both towards the end of the month. 
My re wants a full, unmedicated, cycle inbetween to allow your body to regulate the hormones out on its own.

It really depends. My doctor is making me wait 9 weeks in between retrieval and transfer. I was hoping it would have been sooner but I trust my doctor so I am waiting. Only 12 days left till my transfer!

For my clinic, they said that they take the cells right before freezing (day 5 or 6) and then it can take 10-14 days for the results. This should be fine as I have to wait for my period (about 2 weeks after egg retrieval), then do a week of birth control (to make sure ovaries are quieted down) and then start oral meds for uterine lining. My RE said that everyone is a little different, but they expect to be able to do transfer about 3 and a half weeks after I get my period. So I’m desperately waiting for Aunt Flo like I’ve NEVER done before!

We didn't do PGS, but did frozen, and initially they said late April early May (2/2) retrieval. But my body recovered from the retrieval easily and we are moving to transfer at the end of this month now! Studies show taking a cycle off can help with success rates so most doctors will wait at least a month after retrieval if not doing a fresh transfer. My doctor believes in down regulating so much he won't even do a fresh transfer unless you force him.
