Nurse pushing too hard with heartbeat wand?

Yesterday I had an appointment and I couldn't see the dr because he was out delivering a baby, and only the nurse was there. She couldn't get a good read on the heartbeat and tried for 45 minutes before she could even get a solid 10 seconds of a clear heartbeat. When she was moving the wand around on my belly, she was pushing so hard i was almost in tears from the pain. Now today i have bruises on my belly. I'm so worried about the baby. It's my first so I didn't know what was normal and i was just trusting her, but now I wish I didn't. 😭 Has anyone had this happen before/do you think the baby was harmed??
