Is this accurate?

I know having a baby is hard work but if this picture is accurate and the baby sleeps most of the day, why does no one get any sleep?

Because is baby is sleeping for 15-30 minutes every 45 minutes, it’s not exactly possible to get a decent nights sleep.

Because it's broken sleep. Babies rarely sleep all the way through the night. And it's not like you can just sleep whenever the baby is sleeping. You have to eat and clean and work just like everyone else.

My boys 9 months and this is pretty accurate for him, naps spot on, hours of sleep on the night spot on too but he goes bed at 12am and after im finished with everything i go sleep at 3-4am, and he still wakes up for feeds during the night which is why im always tired. I try to have atleast 1 nap with him during the day though

Because babies Aren’t routine or exactly on a schedule or the schedule that allows sleep
Especially if you have other kids or a job

It is very broken up. It’s not like they are sleeping 12 hours straight at night. A couple hours here and there. And when you have other children, you can rarely sleep when they sleep during the day. Just wait until you have a baby, it will all make sense in the first week. No tired like it
