Did you ever have problems with your husband about the number of kids you wanted to have?

My bf says when we get married he only wants 1 child and I want at least 2 or 3. 
I said i respect his opinion but i seriously cant do only one child. My dream is to have 3 kids and i am already settling go 2 kids for him, but i honestly would not feel good about having just one.
How did you guys solve it? :)
P.s. i want his kids i love him to death hahaha

If you want his kids and to be with him you have to compromise and meet in the middle, just because you want three doesn’t mean he should give you three, he wants 1 he isn’t gonna get 1? Settle in the middle or find someone who wants exactly what you do

Mines a little different. My husband wants more than 3 but I’m settled for 3. Honestly some men change there mind after you have 1 child. But then again I’d even he happy with 1 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Either you have to let go of your desire to have multiple kids or leave. Don't expect someone to change their minds, it never works out.

We always talked about 4 because we both have 3 siblings. Well now that we have two girls he’s saying he was done. But after awhile he was like I’d be okay with three so we tried for #3 I’m now 6 weeks pregnant. I’m weird about an odd number of kids because someone is always left out. So I’m like nope I still want 4 whereas he’s like I could be done with 3... he’s constantly changing his mind which is frustrating to me, because we were on the same page when we first got together even after our first (she was such an easy baby) but #2 a bit more difficult and he didn’t like that so now he’s indecisive 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m like I do a majority of the work anyways so what’s it to you.

Well I have two of my own and one with my husband total of 3. I come from a big family so I don’t mind having another one with my SO. So 4 children, two with him. He wants at least three of his own 😅. Reason for that because he’s an own child and always wanted a big familia ♥️. So it’s up in the air right now.

When me and my husband got together he wanted like 6 , then once we had 1 he was like i love him so much i dont want to replace him and all that but i didnt get to grow up with my siblings because my mom gave me and my other sister to our dads(seperate dads) and she kept my other sister so i was a single child with no mother and i wanted my son to have a sibling so when our son was 3 he finally said we can try to another and we had a baby girl and now we are both set on no more, i compromised and so did he , he knew how bad i wanted another and we got boy and girl so we decided its perfect how it is

Mine to stop at these 2. I want 4. So we compromised and said we would be "not trying not preventing". If we happen to have a third it would be okay. I think I'm okay with that.

Give it time. Things will work themselves out. Before having our daughter, I didn’t want any children at all and my bf did. She’s 2 now. I would love 3 children but our financial status says “only one more, and we’d be pushing it”. Lol. He’s okay with just our one little girl but doesn’t really mind either way if we had more or not. So I’ll have my birth control removed next year and just let things work themselves out over time.
