Breastfeeding with previously pierced nipples?

Hello! I’m currently pregnant and thinking about this a lot. I got my nipples pierced 10 years ago and obviously wasn’t thinking about breastfeeding when I was 18. I’ve already taken the piercings out but I’m wondering what was your experience with breastfeeding? Any issues? Since I’ve had them so long there’s no way they will close up.

I've had mine closed for 15 years and milk  would still come out of the sides where they were a bit. Didnt have any effect on breast feeding at all.

So I actually took mine out bc they say that everytime you nurse you need t9 take them out. And that seemed like too much work for me. Mine closed up right away. No problem breastfeeding I'm on baby #3

this is my second time breastfeeding w/ nipple piercings, i just take the bars out & put them back in, the holes really dont make a difference.. milk comes out of them obviously but my kids never had any issues.

I’m 1week postpartum and I took mine out at 18weeks, I had mine done for two years and while one side has closed of the hole the other hasn’t . So milk leaks out of the holes too , and my son gets a lot of milk at once not sure if I have a fast let down or if the piercing effects that

I had them and removed them probably a year before breastfeeding and my babe is EBF for almost 4 mo now ❤️

My son is in the NICU so right now I'm just pumping but I noticed that milk comes out of my holes. Mine have closed up though except for a little hole.

You cant its chocken hazard youll have to take them out also btw itll cause milk to leak and shoot out where they are pierced
