Input on my pumping schedule?

My daughter is 10 days old today. I had issues in the hospital whihc affected my ability to breastfeed, so I am exclusively pumping.

I pumped every 2 hrs for 4 days, and didn't pump any throughout the night. I would only get 2 oz from each breast each time, besides my initial pumping session in the morning when I would get approximately 12 oz. Total.

It seems that I am having no issues producing, so today I tried it every 4 hrs and have been getting about 4-5 oz from each breast each time...

I'm new to all of this... can holding out for this many hours end up giving me mastitis or engorgement...or is it ok to go 4 hrs at a time. Any input welcome. This is all so confusing to me.
