please help!

so my boyfriend of 1 year and I broke up 4 months ago and we haven't talked since even though we go to the same school and are in the same friend group. after the break up I started talking to other guys right after and people said that my ex thought I didn't like him during the last part of our relationship. even though I did. now I realize I made a mistake and I still like him but we never talk and I don't know if he likes me. what should I do?
