Anatomy scan results??

So I had my anatomy scan done today and it literally took like 15 min ..... I’m currently at 19 weeks and he was measuring 18 wks 4 days the ultrasound tech knows me really well and has know my whole family for 25+ years and said he looked great..... is this normal? Most people’s scans take 45 min to an hour is what I have heard.... and him measuring a little behind has me concerned 😟

My son was really active during his anatomy scan so it took 15 to 20 minutes as well. With both my daughters I had to have multiple scans because they refused to move to get good shots of their spines.

Baby measuring a few days behind isnt concerning.
As far as the time, mine did take 45 minutes but that included 2 pee breaks, a wiggly baby, laying on my side for a few minutes, and bouncing around to get her to change positions. 15 mins sound a little fast but if baby was being cooperative and the tech could measurements quickly I'm sure she finished everything she needed to.
Should have checked abdominal size, head size, leg length, the ability to swallow and pee, umbilical cord, heart chambers, facial features, weight, heart rate, cervical length, and the spine. If she did all that you're good.

Thank y’all for reassuring me I am a worry wart! She measured the head and showed me the four chambers of the heart and showed me the umbilical cord he was is in a great position he said she was looking at a bunch of other stuff but didn’t tell me all what she looked at ..... so I guess it’s all okay I must have just had a lucky visit and he was sitting nice and pretty for her!

It really depends on the baby’s position. If the baby is in a good position or just so happens to keep moving into the right position that the tech needs to get all the measurements they need then it could only take 15 minutes. She should have got a measurement of the baby’s length, their head circumference, their abdomen, femur bone and their weight. If she didn’t get all those measurements then bring it up to your OB and see what they say. Because the baby isn’t measuring more than a week behind the gestational age then them being a little behind isn’t a cause for concern.
