Hello, my mans is finishing his sophomore year of electrical engineering with that being said we are in the process of trying to find an internship. The issue is the city we live in has 30+ engineering companies and consultants with that being said there has only been 2 places that have put up job postings online for summer internships.

This is all overwhelming stressful, should he call or email the companies and ask if they have any available internships? Or should he just submit an in person resume and unofficial transcript? We don’t care if they are paid or not.

We are due to have our baby March 26th so we are trying to find an internship within my city so he is able to spend time with our daughter over the summer and I can work... he is taking 2 online courses over the summer as well. He would just really like to start getting some more experience to add to his resume...

Any tips, suggestions?
