Gasping noises

Anyone's baby make weird gasping noises when excited or talking?? He just started doing it recently and it freaked me out! I realize it's only when playing or talking to himself in a babbling way. He does it while putting himself to sleep too.

I figure it's him figuring out the different sound he can make... He sounds totally normal breathing otherwise. Like when sleeping, or relaxed and "hanging out" he's fine which makes me think he just is experimenting with sounds lol

Tell me.im not crazy, deciding if it's a doctor visit thing. But I feel like they'd just laugh at me lol
