20 weeks scan

I have my 20 week scan this Friday and am pretty nervous about it. Im 39 and will be 40 at time of delivery and I’ve also had 2 miscarriages prior to this in addition to losing a twin (this pregnancy started as a twin but found out there was one empty sac). I’m just praying everything is normal on Friday, it’s been a long journey and I’m praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby. Does anyone know what the statistics are for the 20 week ultrasound and for things going well or bad? You hear really bad stories of women who have found out bad news but I don’t know how common that is.
