I had a baby five months ago and I’m breastfeeding so my doctor said it’s one of the best options but I want to hear about other people’s experiences because I will have it for five years.
And my husband wants to know if he will feel it when we have sex 😂

You can get the strings shortened so he won’t feel it. My bf doesn’t feel mine. I have the mirena and I love it besides the loss of sex drive

I had mine put in about 8 weeks after my first birth. The worst part was I had breakthrough bleeding for a long time, maybe 6 months?  Everything else was positive for me. My periods were much shorter and lighter. I was able to breastfeed for two years. I got it removed and am currently 38+5 with my son!! My husband never felt it. I had no problems with string checks. And I was able to use my Diva Cup with it!

Had it for 4 months and it started slipping out on one side and was tearing uterine lining. Gave the worst cramps and bleeding for the whole 4 months after
Getting it. I know everyone experiences are different but I would never recommend the mirena to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. Also 3 of my Friends have gotten it and all had bad experiences. Deff get others opinions before doing it. Ive heard more bad than good about
Mirena.
