Short cervix, being told 2 different things...

Alright ladies, I need a bit of advice here please.

Yesterday I had an ultrasound check up for my short cervix at the hospital and was immediately told to stay at home and rest and not to go to work. My cervix was measuring at 1.5cm.

Today I came back for a consultation but it was from a different doctor that I had a consultation with last week. She did a pap smear and told me that I was 2cm and that I didnt need to worry about resting and that if I really wanted to my partner and I could have intercourse as it wouldnt cause any harm...this threw me off a little since I was just told last week not to have any stimulation at all...and I was 2.5cm then.

Do I just ignore the second doctor I seen today and keep resting or should I call my maternity doctor and see what she says?
